Admissions
What are the eligibility criteria for B.E. admission?
Candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The minimum aggregate score required is 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates). Students who cleared JEE Mains or state entrance exams can apply directly to Kingston.
What is the application process?
You can apply online through our portal or visit the campus. Fill the application form with required documents including 10th/12th mark sheets, ID proof, and photos. After verification, you'll receive admission confirmation.
When is the admission period?
Admissions typically open in June-July every year. The application deadline is usually July 31st. Counseling rounds are conducted from August to September, with classes starting in late September.
Academics
How many semesters are there in the course?
The B.E. program is 4 years long, divided into 8 semesters. Each semester is 6 months. M.Tech programs are 2 years with 4 semesters. MBA programs are also 2 years with 4 semesters.
What is the curriculum structure?
Our curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills. It includes core subjects, electives, laboratories, mini-projects, and capstone projects. We follow Anna University guidelines with our autonomous institution flexibility to innovate.

When do placements start?

What is the total fee structure?
B.E. program fee is approximately ₹1.6 lakhs per annum. This includes tuition, lab fees, and development charges. Additional charges for hostel (₹1 lakh/year), mess (₹40,000/year), and other facilities as per actual expenses. M.Tech and MBA have different fee structures.
Are scholarships available?
Yes! Kingston offers merit-based scholarships for toppers (up to 50% fee waiver), SC/ST reservations with fee concessions, and need-based financial assistance. Government schemes like Post Matric Scholarships are also available.
Is there an EMI payment option?
Kingston works with several banks and financing institutions to provide education loans. Students can pay fees in installments through these loan facilities. Education loan applicants get 0% or subsidized interest rates.
