Leave Regulations

For medical leave, the Medical Certificate should be enclosed along with the leave letter signed by the parent.

Leave letter should be submitted on the previous day itself with the parent's signature.
Leave letter should be submitted on the first day of leave through anyone of his/her friends.
Parents may make a phone call to the office and inform the respective attendance in charge, regarding their ward's leave.
For medical leave, the Medical Certificate should be enclosed along with the leave letter, signed by the parent.

All requisition letters for leave, medical certificate, permission, hostel matters including permission and leave should be addressed to the Principal. Students should take prior permission before absenting himself from the class, failure of which will be viewed seriously and the parents will be informed of the same.

Identity Card

Each student will be provided with an Identity Card with his/her name and photo with their proper details. They should wear the Identity Card inside the campus and while traveling in the college bus.

NOTE:

Smoking or other forms of consumption of tobacco will not be permitted inside the campus.
Students should not carry the cell phones; if found with cell phones, severe action will be taken.
Boys and girls should not wear any costly gold ornaments in the college campus.

Dress Code

All the students inside the campus should be neatly dressed. All the boys are expected to wear self coloured pants with their shirts neatly tucked in. They should wear shoes only (Sports shoes and Slippers are not permitted). Girls should wear Salwar Kameez with V shaped dhupata pinned on either sides of the shoulder.

College Timings

College timings are from 9.00 A.M to 04.30 P.M. Students are not permitted to enter into the campus after 9.00 A.M. and are also not allowed to leave the college before 04.30 P.M. During the college hours, visitors are strictly not entertained to meet the students.

Students have been placed in various MNCs like CTS, TCS, INFOSYS, Zoho, Intellect Design Arena, Tech Mahindra, Mind Tree and WIPRO for deserving and esteemed packages of more than 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs per annum etc.,

Industrial Visits are organized to companies like BSNL, HCL, CDC, ISRO, CloudLogic, Ennovasys, Sun Network Services, BHEL, News7 Channel, Codoid, IITM-Research Park etc.,

MBA is associated with the MMA - Madras Management Association student chapter thereby conducting various Industry related workshops and seminars.

Funds around 10 lakhs approx. have been received for AICTE FDP Scheme.

Institution has various memberships like Delnet, Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE), International Association of Engineers(IAENG), Computer Society of India(CSI), Institution Innovation Council(IIC) etc.,

ANNA UNIVERSITY RECOGNIZED RESEARCH CENTER

The Institute has an R&D unit whose objective is to support and stimulate research and development activities that serve society as a whole, particularly academic improvement. A committee of members, including the head of the institution, the coordinator, and doctoral and senior faculty members from each department, comprise the R&D cell. The research cell's objectives include improving theoretical understanding and creating innovative technologies to address current problems. The cell encourages student and faculty development. The Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering has received research recognition from Anna University and has promoted research activities since 2017. Faculty members who received supervisor recognition from Anna University in the respective departments are working as recognized guides in the research centre. Faculty members from several institutions, including Kingston Engineering College, have been pursuing research in the R&D departments. The candidate admitted to research programmes in the department of the institution recognised by Anna University will be observed and assessed by the Research and Development Cell. TNSCST has sanctioned project funding for two student's projects. The R&D cell's focus is to raise student awareness of research and development opportunities and to encourage faculty members and students to publish research papers in reputable national and international conferences and journals. The management sponsors the most promising projects for prototyping. Guest lectures by renowned researchers, professors, and industrialists are scheduled to promote student and teacher awareness and interest in research. Information about various funding agencies, methods of applying for projects, etc. has been provided through these programmes.
