PRACTICAL LABORATORY
OVERVIEW
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kingston Engineering College houses state-of-the-art laboratory facilities designed to provide students with hands-on practical experience in electronics, communication systems, VLSI design, and embedded systems. The labs are equipped with modern oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and FPGA development boards.
The ECE labs support curriculum delivery, project-based learning, industry-sponsored training, and research activities in analog and digital electronics, microprocessor systems, wireless communication, and signal processing domains.
ECE LABORATORY
The ECE Laboratory provides a platform for students to explore the fundamentals of electronics, communication systems, VLSI design, and embedded systems. Equipped with modern oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and FPGA development boards, this lab enables hands-on experimentation with analog and digital circuits, microprocessor interfacing, and wireless communication modules. Students gain practical exposure to circuit design, PCB fabrication, and system integration.
Key Equipment & Capabilities: Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSOs), Function Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, FPGA/CPLD Development Kits, Microcontroller Trainer Kits (8051, ARM, Arduino), Sensors and Actuators Modules, and PCB prototyping workstations.
